The Bloodline Redfish Classic is a season-long competition built to test every side of a Louisiana redfish angler—not just one fishing style or one fish size.

Across six qualifying rounds, anglers are challenged through location tournaments, strategy, consistency, adaptability, fish handling and tournament-day execution.

The Top 10 anglers from the qualifying season will face one final challenge at Falgout Marina to determine who earns the title of Ultimate Redfish Champion.

Qualification is earned through season performance, consistency and the ability to compete under pressure.

TOURNAMENT RULES & POLICIES

LOCATION TOURNAMENT RULES
  • One redfish between 26 and 27 inches may be kept when that slot is part of the announced round format.
  • Two additional redfish sizes may be randomly selected before tournament launch.
  • Fish must be legally caught during official tournament hours.
  • All measurements must use a tournament-approved slant board.
  • The fish must lie flat with its nose touching the front stop.
  • The complete measurement must be clearly visible for verification.
  • Altered, manipulated or unclear measurements may result in disqualification.
  • All Louisiana fishing and boating laws apply.
TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN & WEIGH-IN RULES
  • Anglers must follow the official check-in and weigh-in process announced for each round.
  • Fish must be presented to tournament officials within the announced weigh-in window.
  • Fish measurements and weights must be clearly visible and verifiable.
  • Scoring is based on verified tournament results.
  • All catches must comply with applicable Louisiana laws.
  • Tournament officials may reject any catch, weight or measurement that cannot be verified.
CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATION
  • Only the Top 10 anglers in the official season standings advance to the Championship Final.
  • Anglers may miss up to two qualifying rounds.
  • Overall standings and season performance determine qualification.
  • All scores, weights and measurements remain subject to tournament director verification.
PAYMENT & PAYOUT RULES
  • Each qualifying round must be paid individually.
  • Qualifying rounds cannot be paid for as one advance package.
  • Registration and payment are required before the round begins.
  • No refunds are issued after payment submission.
  • Payouts are based only on paid tournament entries.
  • The $10 registration fee is separate from tournament payouts.
  • Final payouts and standings require tournament director approval.
BOAT, WATERCRAFT & PASSENGER RULES
  • Legally operated kayaks, mud boats, bay boats, jon boats, skiffs and other lawful watercraft are allowed.
  • Bank fishing is not allowed.
  • Anglers must remain inside their vessel during active tournament fishing hours.
  • Emergency situations may be reviewed at the tournament director’s discretion.
  • Every person actively fishing must be officially registered.
  • There are no team divisions; every angler competes individually.
  • Multiple registered anglers may fish from the same vessel.
  • Each angler must catch and present their own fish. Fish may not be shared.
  • Vessel capacity laws must be followed at all times.
FISHING TACKLE & GENERAL RULES
  • Any legal rod, reel, fishing line, artificial lure, live bait or dead bait may be used.
  • All Louisiana state fishing laws apply.
  • Sportsmanship and respect for other anglers and boaters are required.
  • Unsafe boating or reckless operation may result in disqualification.
  • Tournament director decisions are final.
  • Have fun and fish safely.
WEATHER, SAFETY & CANCELLATION POLICY

Participant safety is the highest priority. Officials may monitor high winds, lightning, thunderstorms, fog, unsafe water conditions, small craft advisories, tropical systems and any other unsafe condition.

  • An event may be delayed, modified, postponed, rescheduled or canceled.
  • Notice may be issued up to 24 hours before an event or on tournament morning if conditions change rapidly.
  • Weather and safety decisions are made solely by tournament organizers.
  • All weather-related tournament decisions are final.
MEDIA RELEASE & CONTENT AGREEMENT

By participating, anglers grant the Bloodline Redfish Classic and Sev7n Outdoors permission to use tournament-related photographs, videos, event videos, audio, drone footage, likenesses, voices, vessels and other media for promotional, advertising, social media, website, print, sponsor and future marketing purposes without additional compensation or approval.

LIABILITY WAIVER

Fishing, boating, changing weather, water conditions and tournament participation involve inherent risks. By participating, anglers agree not to hold tournament organizers, sponsors, affiliates, property owners, volunteers or hosts liable for injury, loss, theft, accident, property damage or death associated with tournament participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
